About East Beaches Flooring
We show products that we feel are consistent with the principles of a healthy home and honest business, for example our laminates from Goodfellow are manufactured in Germany and conform to strict European quality standards (see Lumber Liquidators formaldehyde scandal), our Harbinger vinyl products conform to SGS Global’s Platinum standard, the world’s toughest resilient (vinyl) flooring standard to ensure no phenols, phthalates or heavy metals such as cadmium or lead contaminate your indoor air, our Beaulieu carpet is made in Canada and so is our hardwood! In fact, we like to use woods grown and manufactured in Manitoba!
The business is run by me, Karl Redekopp. I’m very hands on, in fact I undertake all the sales and installations activities, sometimes with a helper. I have over a decade of experience in the flooring industry, have numerous industry-expert contacts I can call on in technically demanding situations and I stay up to date by regularly attending relevant demo’s, seminars, training, etc.

Laminate
Laminate is an affordable, stylish and cleaning-friendly option for living rooms, bedrooms, basements and often kitchens too. Just make sure not to leave standing water on laminate floors. Our favorite laminate supplier is Goodfellow, since their laminates are made in Germany, they have a strong locking system, conform to strict European indoor air quality standards and look fantastic!
Carpet
Carpet is a soft, warm, comfortable and affordable flooring option for bedrooms, basements and living rooms. Available in almost unlimited styles and colors, there is something for everyone! Our favorite supplier for residential carpet is Beaulieu, they are high-quality, made in Canada and offer top-notch warranties!
Ceramic Tile
Ceramic tile is an excellent choice for entrances and bathrooms, and anywhere you want a durable, luxurious and timeless flooring selection. If installed properly, a ceramic tile installation will last as long as the building itself, it has endless customization options, can be tied into showers, fireplaces, backsplashes and other wall features.
